GeneMarkerHID has several display and reporting options to meet the needs of individual laboratories.
The default electropherogram and allele report in the main analysis screen contain the marker and allele names. Settings to display selected metrics in the electropherogram are in the display settings tab of the view preferences. Use the position dropdown menu to select the location – allele label, peak right or peak top.

There are several report options available to include height and area in the report table.
- A common format for LIMS systems and export to PG software (such as MaSTR or STRMix) is to list all alleles, followed by all sizes and/or heights. Select the report sheet icon above the table to open the Allele report Settings window. Then, select Forensics as the Report Style along with the other settings highlighted in the figure below.
- Another common format is to display the table with fields in order after each allele. Select the report sheet icon above the table to open the Allele Report Settings window. Then, select Peak table as the Report Style and add the desired options one at a time. They will be displayed in the order in which they were selected. When the selection is complete click Ok. Use the save icon to save the table as a .txt file.
- A third option is to display the height and area in the same cell as the allele name. Select the report sheet icon above the table to open the Allele Report Settings window. Then, select Show Allele Name, Show Height, and Show Area. The table includes the allele with height and area in parentheses.
