Yes - ChimerMarker uses alpha-numeric sorting.
There is no need to change the file name.
- Use View – Preferences – Chimerism – extended field to designate the Descriptor (the characters that will be used in the .fsa file name)
- Insert 01, 02, 03… in the cells of the sample origin column – this is automatically used to preface the files when they are imported
- Per the screen shot below, the .fsa file names are listed in alphanumeric order in the folder where they are stored. When imported into ChimerMarker, the numeric designator from Sample Origin setting displays the files in the designated order.
